Zimbabwe

Success crossing the border today from Bots to Zimbabwe…informal, but don’t screw up…just the vibe I got. Few computers, lots of paper and stamping….vigorous stamping. After an hour road transfer we arrived at Victoria Falls Hotel which is like the hotel in The Shining…but not empty. Old fashioned, stately…ghost like. A beauty from bygone days….reminds me of the Equinox Hotel but much larger. Lunch on the terrace and a sunset cruise on the Zambezi and tonight we are tired. I’m not sure if it’s that we know our trip is winding down or what….but it’s an early night for these two VT monkeys. Love the charm…and decor. Hot showers…Victoria Falls tomorrow. Sweet dreams, friends. Sending you lots and lots of love and gratitude.

Ahhh, a bit of civilization must be nice! Enjoy the “high provincial living” on the other side of the world for a few days!
